Life is a journey from beginning to end,
An adventure which I know I’ll transcend.
I don’t know when, or where or how,
But I know one day I’ll definitely go.
For I have felt love and was crushed by pain,
I have embraced darkness, and I have danced in the rain.
I have risen with the lark and lay awake all night
And have seen death come with chaos and fright.
I have lived in the moment, felt my breathe rise and fall,
As I listened to the majesty of the Shaman's drum call.
I have tasted desire in the slight of his hand
And I have softy given myself to this land.
I have witnessed the joy hearing my baby’s first cry,
I have embodied the sadness watching Mam died.
I have experienced the kindness of others when I couldn’t go on
And I have considered unending beauty in the skylark’s song.
So, study your words and the moments you spend.
For what if they were the last and it all had to end.
Could you reflect on the love, the laughter and strife,
Knowing that it's all woven threads in the fabric of life.
